Discussion → Need resources

My friends and I have questions about sex and sexuality. We keep hearing conflicting information and would like a good resource that we can check out. Any ideas?

I know! There are so many myths about healthy sexuality and friends are often just as confused about the topic. Sex/sexuality can also be a difficult and sensitive topic to discuss because folks don't want to look stupid or immature in front of their peers/partner. The following sites are very informative! http://www.scarleteen.com/ http://kinseyconfidential.org/

On campus, I would definitely suggest SHAPE, it's a student group committed to educating peers on sexual health and awareness. (Here's the link http://www.k-state.edu/lafene/SHAPE/) If you are feeling confused about your own sexuality, you might also talk to a trusted advisor, friend, counselor or the women's center (Yes, even if you are a man!) I hope that's helpful :)

I'm not sure if this was what you had questions about, but there is also a student group on campus called LGBTQ+More that might be worth looking into for those who are questioning their sexuality or who want to meet other LGBTQ+ people.
