Discover Yourself

This section links to self-assessments that are confidential for you. Each assessment has helpful information to help you balance your life and study habits. (By using these assessments you’re asserting that you’ve read and understand the Terms of Service and agree to it.)

Read the descriptions of each assessment and decide which would help you best. You are welcome to take each of them. Each will have instructions to complete.

The main purpose for the K-CAT assessments is to provide you with profiles that will help you understand your personal strengths and potential area for improvement. Upon completion of each of the assessments, you will receive immediate feedback on your profile and interpretation instruction via the Internet.

Confidentiality Statement: The data collected from the assessment sites may be used to provide normative profiles on college students as group data. No information will be used that identifies you personally by name or characteristic.

The group data is stored on a secured server. All K-State eIDs (electronic identifications) will be removed after merging individual data into a group pool, so no personal information will be kept.

How to Access the Assessments

  1. Enter your eID. (For first-time users, you will not have a K-CAT identification. Simply go to the area for new users.)
  2. Print your profile before you close each of the websites. You will be unable to retrieve your profile once you leave the website.

The HBA measures three areas of healthy lifestyle functioning including physical activity, eating behavior, and personal management skill. It includes a readiness measure that indicates your awareness and readiness to make personal improvement.
